Trazer provides accurate and pertinent Baseline testing which is encouraged in the Berlin 2016 summit recommendations for concussion management.

It's important to note this new baseline testing approach is not similar to neurocognitive testing or any other previous baseline testing formats. It also provides an opportunity to standardize the testing procedures further marginalizing individual, subjective and anecdotal approaches to determine one's fitness to return to play. Objective performance baseline testing also reduces the stress placed upon decision makers as to when an athlete is fit to return to play. The beauty of this baseline test is that all clinics can do the testing they are accustomed to and can add this test as a safety screen before return to play is recommended. The BESS test and Stroop testing are also provided. Three distinct performance markers have been identified by researchers to help interpret the performance data and compare pre-and-post performance discrepancies: 1) Reaction time, 2) The ability to"stop on a dime" and, 3) The lateral shuffle test.

This additional screening procedure will provide an accurate account of ones ability to protect themselves in real time and space at full speed under exertion as it actively assesses individuals during activity that closely mimics the demands of their respective sports. Furthermore I will also be offering the most current objective baseline testing of its kind to aid in the safe return to play decision process following an injury. This specific treatment includes injuries which encompass the head, neck, jaw (TMJ), and shoulder, and their complicated musculoskeletal relationships resulting from whiplash and concussion-like traumas. In a continued effort to expand treatment options, I am now offering specific rehabilitation therapy for the musculoskeletal components associated with mild to medium concussions. This unique multi disciplinary approach from one practitioner, allows for better continuity and efficacy in designing a treatment recovery strategy. Complex bio-mechanical relationships are always considered from the foot to the base of the skull. For over twenty-nine years, I have continually upgraded the services my clinic offers, so that I provide the most accurate and advanced therapy currently available. As a result, each patient is individually evaluated, and the treatment that best serves him or her, is offered.
